AI Gateway
Make probabilistic decisions with Jev or generate text, paid per successful call with USDG.
Naven AI Gateway gives agents two paid capabilities: structured evaluation with Jev and text generation from supported models. Pay for each successful response with USDG on Robinhood Chain using x402 v2. Your application needs a wallet with USDG; it does not need a model-provider API key, a Naven account, or a subscription.
Jev has a dedicated decision playground. It turns state plus a typed boolean, choice, or score question into a probability your agent can use for routing, escalation, policy checks, and other decisions. The separate text-generation playground searches every Vercel model compatible with Naven's bounded Chat Completions endpoint.

| Guide | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Quickstart | Make your first x402-paid Jev evaluation. |
| Jev evaluations | Define boolean, choice, and score decisions. |
| Models and pricing | Choose supported models and understand the price and limits. |
| API reference | Integrate model discovery and Chat Completions. |
| Retries and recovery | Handle interrupted generation and settlement safely. |
How a Jev call works
- Send state and typed questions to the Evaluations endpoint and receive HTTP 402.
- Check the fixed amount and recipient against values you trust.
- Sign the x402 payment offer with your wallet.
- Repeat the same request with the signed payment header.
- Receive structured probabilities and an onchain payment receipt after successful settlement.
Jev is an evaluation model, not a chat model, and is not exposed through the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions route. Text generation remains available at POST /chat/completions with the supported limits. Both paid routes use the same standard x402 challenge and retry flow.
If evaluation.available is false, Jev calls are unavailable. If the catalog reports available: false, text models remain browsable but new Chat Completions calls are unavailable. If stale: true, displayed text-model prices must not be treated as current payment requirements.
